Zug – EVZ has stood for exciting ice hockey since 1967, and now it has opened a new chapter. His unmistakable trademark, bull, has undergone a digital transformation and has been featured as a digital collector’s item as part of EVZ’s first NFT Drop. 67 one-of-a-kind “Platinum EVZ Bulls” sold out within 24 hours – proceeds go back to EVZ’s youth and “hockey academy” coaching concept. We are excited to achieve this successful project as a partner with our Tokengate project. EVZ’s second NFT series is just around the corner – the NFT Gold Drop will take place this fall.
On August 29, 2022, the second Inacta innovation episode took place on the SHED train. The focus was on the potential and potential of coding in the sports segment, with EVZ’s NFT Platin Drop immediately impressively demonstrating said potential. 67 NFTs sold within 24 hours – via our Tokengate project marketplace, making the “Platinum EVZ Bulls” project possible with the necessary technology solutions. In addition, the newly founded EVZ sponsors association “Sixtyseven’s” and Inacta served as partners for the “Platinum EVZ Bulls”.
Ibrahim Kan, Head of Marketing and Sales at EVZ: “EVZ is open and curious about the burgeoning blockchain technology. NFTs are getting more and more popular and interest in them is growing. Now EVZ, as the first professional ice hockey club in Switzerland, is starting its own NFT pool to pioneer along this digitization path! I am particularly pleased with the success of our first NFT Series as it supports the young talent at EVZ – EVZ with its distinctive coaching philosophy invests a lot in youth and in training its players with conviction. There is hardly a better way to combine our training philosophy with the possibilities of blockchain technology. »
For the offspring of EVZ
EVZ’s first NFT series included 67 NFTs, each with a unique EVZ bull – hence the name “Platinum EVZ Bulls”. Proceeds from the sale of NFTs benefit EVZ’s offspring and “The Hockey Academy” coaching concept. The NFT retails for $970. In addition to the value of the pool, each purchaser benefits from attractive additional services – an invitation to an EVZ party with top team players on the SHED train, an exclusive SHED bar membership and a unique EVZ Platinum puck as well as future NFT airdrops.
After this first successful NFT Drop – the Platinum Drop – the NFT Gold Drop will follow this fall. More information on this will follow in the next few weeks. (Inacta / mk / ps)
