Today, Friday, July 1, 2022, the dollar is trading at 20.2669 pesos per unit with a real-time downtrend. In this session, the interbank spot dollar closed at 20.2377 units. This means that the peso is losing 10.24 cents compared to the last report of Banxico.

On the weekly level, the local currency recorded a decrease of 36.41 cents compared to its close the previous Friday (19.8736), according to the Banxico record.

According to economist Gabriella Seiler, between the minimum value reached so far this year – recorded last May 31 – and the maximum exchange rate today, the difference is one peso, which represents the decline that the local currency suffered during the month of June.
