A shooting at a restaurant in Ciudad Juarez killed four people and wounded one. Two armed men entered the Denny’s Restaurant located in Plaza Galería Tec in Ciudad Juárez (Chihuahua) and opened fire on two men and two women who were sitting near the door. The bodies of the victims were lying next to the table where they had eaten, seconds before they had eaten.
The events occurred on Thursday morning. The two gunmen, who were wearing tracksuits, entered the facility where other customers were eating and shot the victims at least 10 times. The injured, a real estate consultant, according to local press reports, was transferred to a private hospital in his own way. When gunfire erupted, some of the restaurant’s customers took to the bathroom or fled when they heard the first shots.
So far, the authorities have not issued an official statement in this regard, and there are no detainees. Chihuahua’s attorney general, Roberto Fierro, noted that these types of attacks have to do with the liquidation of dozens of criminal gangs.
