They arrested a prisoner who escaped from Bayamun Prison

One of the two inmates who escaped Sunday morning from Bayamon Prison was arrested Thursday in the Los Melones sector near the municipal golf course, police said.

According to a preliminary report from the authorities, Harold Bolavia BorreroHe, 26, was with a woman when agents from the Intelligence and Arrests Division detained him. No details were revealed about the female.

Bolivian Borero faces a 43-year prison sentence for second-degree murder and the Weapons Act, among other charges.

Police participated in the search with the Correctional Department’s Special Detention Unit and the US Marshall’s Office.

Another prisoner who escaped and is still wanted by the authorities is Juan Alberto Valdez Lopeza resident of the neighborhood Beatriz, Las Peñas sector, in Caguas. He is six feet tall, has a slim build, and has tattoos on his neck, arms, face, legs, ribs, and stomach. He is serving a three-year prison sentence for burglary and other crimes.
