Department of Correction and Rehabilitation (DCR) and police Office Today, Sunday, they are searching for two prisoners who escaped this morning from Bayamon Camp 1072.
The prisoners were identified as Harold Aboulafia Borrero s Juan Alberto Valdez Lopez.
“On the countdown at 3:00 AM, the duty detention officer realized that these two prisoners were not in their cell and activated the escape protocol. For his part, the Public Relations Center immediately launched an investigation into the incident,” the DCR Assistant Security Secretary reported, Victor Rivera.
Apolavia Borreiro is from Nemesio R. Canales Residential, in San Juan. He is serving a total sentence of 43 years for second-degree murder and the Guns Act, among other charges. He is six feet tall and weighs 170 pounds and sports tattoos on his arms and legs.
Meanwhile, Valdez Lopez is a resident of the Beatriz neighborhood, Las Peñas sector, in Caguas. He is six feet tall, has a slim build, and has tattoos on his neck, arms, face, legs, ribs, and stomach. The inmate is serving a three-year prison sentence for burglary and other crimes.
Rivera added that both prisoners are of average detention.
The Special Detention Unit, Dog Unit, and Tactical Operations Unit are also involved in the search for inmates.
